On Reflection
Looking very tired. You’re better off with Zuma, and that’s saying something.
The Score
Sometimes an Xbox Live Arcade title comes along that pushes the boundaries of Microsoft’s
download service and threatens to totally change our perception. Sadly, Luxor 2 is not that game.
Like the many Robotron-a-like games that threatened to drown the service in its early days,
Mumbo Jumbo’s latest offering is just a shiny Egyptian take on Zuma, and let’s face it, when
you’ve already spent 800 points on near perfection, there’s no need to fork out the same amount
of cash again. It’s not that Luxor 2 does anything wrong you understand. It’s just that Mumbo
Jumbo has been beating to the proverbial punch by Zuma – by over a year and a half we hasten
to add – and as a result, Luxor 2 just feels rather tired. Check the trial out by all means, but there
are far better ways to spend 800 points.
