The reason you should be buying this right now is so you can spend the whole of the next week (until Monday 26 July) attempting to topple ThreeSixtyMag‘s increasingly mighty Pacifism score. Prizes for the one that beats us by the most by that date. Goooo.

Monkey Island 2 Special Edition

We don’t care if we’ve blogged about this game pretty much every day since it was announced. It’s still the most essential XBLA purchase for the price and quality. It’s worth the asking price alone just for Gilbert, Grossman and Schafer’s hilarious commentaries.

South Park LET’S GO TOWER DEFENSE PLAY!

Probably the best tower defence game on XBLA (among a growing number), it somehow uses utterly generic gaming conventions to capture much of the humour of the South Park world, as well as being an addictive and compulsive tower defence experience in its own right.
