Every so often, a flash game turns up that still manages to combine freshness of concept, cool design and an excellent atmosphere. Canabalt is one such game, blending brilliant 8-bit style graphics with a killer widescreen, monochromatic, dystopian feel. The heavy synth soundtrack is the icing on the cake.

The only controls are X or C on the keyboard to jump.
