VERDICT
Bizarrely this Hulk game isn’t as much fun as Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, and it wasn’t exactly brilliant anyway. You’re best off just watching the film and leaving this alone.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK - X360 COMMENTARY

To view this trailer, you will need to have Adobe Flash Player already pre-installed.
Well this is disappointing. Again. Every time a superhero game comes along we get our hopes up and every time those hopes are dashed. So here’s what’s wrong with The Incredible Hulk: it’s just awful.
Even though there’s a huge city to bound across and totally smash up, lots of enemies to flail your big green arms at and… actually that seems to be it for the good bits. You see, other than that you’ve missions based on hitting things, escort missions, a subway for transporting the Hulk around the city (which also stops the army from trying to kill you), there are well over 200 things to collect which have to be found first, jump challenges which see you jumping through hoops and buildings that inexplicably crumble to dust if you brush past them. Oh, and when you jump you can press punch which sends the Hulk flying forward but you can’t really control where he lands.
There’s no lock-on which means you end up waving Hulk’s arms ineffectively in the air, enemies take too long to die and it just never feels like you’re all that incredible or all that hulky either. There are many more reasons, it’s a good thing we don’t have space to go through them all, you’d just end up as disappointed as us.
