The latest issue of the mag has snuck onto shelves one day early!

Good news for you, and even better news for me... because I actually get to talk about the issue – and the Assassin exclusive – now! The official announcement is due from Ubisoft tomorrow btw

Along with the exclusive first look at Assassin 360 you'll find:

• Previews on Crackdown, Tony Hawks, Timeshift, Kane & Lynch.
• Reviews of Dead Rising, Test Drive, Saints Row, Madden.
• An in-depth look at the Live Vision camera and what it actually does.
• Features on development hell and gender in games.
• A guide to getting over 10k Gamerpoints in one week.
• New info on Halo 3, Portal, Team Fortress 2 and The Darkness.

Oh, and the very first mention of this forum But don't get too excited, the good forum stuff is coming in the next issue

If you can't find a copy (WHSmiths have it on shelf already) look out for it tomorrow.

WH Smith was still open for a change on my way home so I managed to get a copy today!

I thought the matt front cover was a printing mistake last time?! The mag doesn't exactly jump off the shelf. It does seem slightly better than issue 13 though so maybe its the look you're going for? I'm gonna assume the wierd dots on the little pics in the News Bites sections are intentional too. I have to say that I think the dots are a poor idea. I'm not sure what the thinking is behind them but they just get in the way of the image! not exactly a big deal of course but this is the 'feedback' thread!

On a positive note, its great to see 360 getting a 'world exclusive', especially as its for Assassin's Creed!!

Also great to see CJX's 'Advertise. Us.' post making an appearance in the mag but no name check unfortunately. I'm intrigued to see what forum stuff will be included next time! Hope I get a mention!!

Well anyway, I'm looking forward to delving deeper into the mag later.

Nope, got it a few days ago, but was withheld until tomorrow. At last, some advertising Hopefully there'll be a little more in the next issue.

And I really like the cover. It feels expensive.

I'd like to think that my email to Lipsy also helped raise mag awareness of the forum so maybe we should both be rewarded with free copies of Dead Rising!!

Wow, this topic has had over 1,700 hits in less than 24 hours.

It's almost as if lots of websites had been linking to the forum.

See - we do keep our promises. I told y'all that we'd be first on the shelves with official confirmation that AC was coming to the Xbox 360.

And it was only yesterday I was commenting on the lack of a "must-have" game for the 360. From your review, it looks like assassin will fill that hole

Well, presumably sales of this months issue will be much bigger than usual, what with the exclusive of Assassin. Which means more people seeing that advert for the forums (yes, that advert accompanied by a cruelly unnamed quote from me ).

This is great news. I hated the idea of Sony having this to themselves. I can now think of no reason to own a ps3.
